Our Young Members Programme offers a range of opportunities for younger members, early-career researchers and professionals, and student members.

Mentoring
Our mentoring scheme is a mechanism by which those in studies or early career can access either subject-matter specific or general career mentorship from a Member or Fellow of the Institute. Employability
Our employability scheme offers support to those in studies through employment-focused workshops that offer the opportunity to hear from Members and Fellows from a variety of professional and academic settings.
Networking
Our networking opportunities focus on bringing together young members from across Institute to foster collaboration, engagement and a positive experience. This includes formal and informal events, both Young Members and Student Forum specific as well as the wider offerings of The Institute’s events team.
Awards
If you are a student you are eligible to apply for the annual Bill Blake Memorial Award. This is an exciting opportunity to write a paper that addresses a relevant and topical issue, may influence policy and further research, and culminates with the potential to win a prestigious award and some well-earned prize money.
