This structure includes four levels, tailored to reflect the economic classification of the applicant's country: High-Income Economy, Upper Middle-Income Economy, Lower Middle-Income Economy, and Low-Income Economy. Status

As a recognised professional body and learned institute, ICPEM offers the following benefits:

Professional Body Status and UK Tax Relief

ICPEM is listed among the UK’s approved professional bodies and learned societies for tax relief, given its mission to advance professional knowledge and competence. Starting 6 April 2023, employed UK tax-paying members and fellows may be eligible to claim tax relief on their professional membership fees if relevant to their role. For more information on eligibility and the claims process, please refer to the HM Revenue and Customs website. The Institute is listed as “Civil Protection and Emergency Management Institute.”
