ICPEM is pleased to be supporting the work of the Centre for Active Resilience and Security (CARS) at Imperial College London.

Established in 2023, CARS is an Imperial Centre of Excellence focused on building a more secure and resilient society through multidisciplinary research, innovation, partnership and evidence-based policy across cyber, biological, environmental, physical and social domains.

 

Its work is highly relevant to ICPEM members working across civil protection, emergency management and resilience, and this includes a growing offer in education and professional development, with upcoming summer schools, open CPD opportunities, and further courses in development.

 

This aligns strongly with ICPEM’s commitment to advancing knowledge, professional practice and lifelong learning across the resilience profession.
