Lunch and Learn

Jack is the National Operations Manager for Incident Management and Operational Risk & Resilience and will be exploring  the development of the Environment Agency’s National Operations Centre and how it can provide stronger national coordination, shared situational awareness and support during major incidents, while ensuring decisions remain with those best placed to make them locally. The session will consider how national oversight and local autonomy can work together, reflecting the principle of subsidiarity: decisions taken at the lowest appropriate level, with coordination at the highest necessary level.
